Celebration and Seperation

Ah, the end of a tour. There’s nothing like it, except that feeling you had when you left camp – a mixture of exhaustion, friend crushes and having finally accepted you’re just dirty and nothing but a long, hot bath will dislodge the road grime…but in a good way, you know?

Pre-show warm up (in the sun)!

Our last show was both successful and very special. We helped honor Nichole’s Grandma, Marilyn, at her birthdy. With a gathering of friends and family, we spent a sunny Sunday singing and laughing in Nevada. A multigenerational guest list ensured we had a rapt audience.

Just cute!

After the tedious and tearful job of loading Beast for the last time, we said our goodbyes (multiple times), friended each other on Facebook and took required parting pictures. Then went our separate ways for new adventures.

Beast is the best!

& and P drove Beast home to San Francisco, a rather melancholy drive. We bonded with Beast (who really opened up on the drive home) and started planning the next tour in our minds.

Most of all, we wanted to express our gratitude to everyone who helped us along the way. We have experienced kind and generous hosts, loyal friends and fans, new band members and a few guardian angels along the way. We can’t wait to see you next time around!
